Melbourne most popular Chinese news app Yeeyi has closed $3m last November and the daily active user of its application has exceeded 50K by end of this June and that all because of this man Adam Baodunnov.
Adam Baodunnov has been helping Australian local companies to modernizing their content system and monetization system, departing data science and artificial intelligence firm, Kloudpeak Networks and leave China for Melbourne Australia in 2019.
Adam is an Uyghur entrepreneur born and raised in China. He was previously CEO of Kloudpeak Networks responsible for commercial and go-to-market leadership for its successful AI-based News platform Gundem(in Turkish market) and Newsgo(in German and Brazilian market). With Adam’s leadership Gundem/Newsgo has become no.1 mobile news platform in Turkey with over 1.2m daily active users alone in Turkey.
Yeeyi chairman and founder, Steve He, said working with the experienced data scientist and AI expert was too good an opportunity to pass up. Yeeyi said it has seen a significant boost in both daily active users and engagement as customers increasingly read from our application and we have reduced the operation cost by 70% after adopting Adam’s AI based content operation system, which have save us from the horrifying pandemic period. And because of those upgradation Yeeyi has closed $3m last November.
And now Adam has decided to move on to his next challenge to help a local start-up Thisdeal24 to be profitable and become a global player in digital marketing and ecommerce world. “Thisdeal24 offer consumers a way to save with zero hassle and no strings attached, while helping brands reach their audience based on a granular understanding of what Thisdeal24 members want, when they want it and the offers that will motivate them,” he said. “With so many potential growth avenues, the key challenge will be to stay focused on the best opportunities for customers and brands,” he added.
